| Continuing to look to escape the unseasonable high temperatures in the inland valleys, we chose to hike the Sutton Trails just North of Florence. From our motor home parked in the Sutton Campground we took the trail west alongside the south side of Sutton Creek, through Buldoc's Meadow to Holman Vista. |

In order for us to be able to hike to the ocean it was necessary for us to take off our boots and wade across Sutton Creek.

| following the trail posts At the ocean our stay was brief due to sand-stinging high winds as shown in the extra photo. We had left our campsite at 9:00am and were back by noon with just a little over 5 miles of travel.
