Date: January 15, 2007 | Location Saint Perpetua Trail Hike | Where: Cape Perpetua Scenic Area | The last several hikes have involved hiking across sand dunes to the point that I've tired of slogging through the sand. A hike on some solid ground sounded like a good idea, so I thought of the Cape Perpetua area and my favorite trail there, the Saint Perpetual Trail. Braving the cold winter weather for a hike with Jeanette and I were friends Eddie and Jeanie Harrod.

However, one spot of stubborn ice still clinging to a section of the trail caused us to step carefully.
