Shellburg Falls

A hike to Shellburg Falls seemed the thing to do today. It was an opportunity for Jeanette and I to get in a good hike and take along our dog Buster, and it was an opportunity for me to try out my new Panasonic digital camera. Shellburg is always an easy choice for us because of its close proximity, its diversity of habitat, and its abundance of birds and wildflowers. Recent rains have left the flowers a little soggy, so they were not at their best, and additional rain forced us to turn back early and eat our lunch in the van, but we all enjoyed our outing.
