Next we drove a short distance further on Dillard Road and picked up the Ridgeline Trail again, heading west to Spencers Butte. In this section we started seeing wild flowers, Toothwort, and the first Lady Slipper of the year. Further on we started seeing lots of Trilliums. Then it was on to the summit of Spencer Butte and lunch in the sun surveying the greater Eugene area.

Once back to the car we found our way into downtown Eugene and a quick stop for coffee at Café Zenon, where incidentally our web master, Michael, works.
