Notes:Dorena Dam was built by the US Army Corps of Engineers for flood control, so as a result the reservoir is drawn down each fall to make room for spring snow melt. It is one of 13 reservoirs in the Willamette Basin Project built for flood control and power generation.
Route:From Eugene take I-5 south 20 miles to Cottage Grove at Exit 174. Go east on the Row River Road.
