We knew day 4 would be a long day in the 10 mile range with temperatures in the upper 90s so Jeanette and I got an even early start, with breakfast in the tent and on the trail by 5:30 AM.

| Our one stream crossing of the day was over Crooked Creek and here I was ecstatic to see my first bridge in four days. |

| The canyon became more barren, and the day heated up as we slogged out the last miles to the Troy Traihead. |
