In the morning we hiked out of Big Indian to my car at South Steens Campground and then shuttled back to the top to Larry's vehicle. Finding the top too cold and winding to explore Little Wildhourse Lake, we opted to drop down to Wet Banket Springs.

| Roz and Larry heading for Wet Blanket Springs Here at a lower elevation, and sheltered from the wind we enjoyed out lunch and were entertain watching deer keeping an eye on bow hunters.

| Larry and Ron watching the deer watch the bow hunters After lunch we decided to explore further down the stream that flowed out of Wet Blanket Spring into the Little Blitzen Gorge. Although it is late in the year for flowers I did manage to photograph Coyote Mint in bloom.
