If I had spotted this little sparrow by myself, I would have mistakenly assumed it was an immature White-crowned Sparrow. Fortunately, Brandon Wagner was the first to see it on January 17th and identified it as a Field Sparrow, which was a first for Oregon. This sparrow normally resides East of the Rockies.
