The Abandoned Mines Trail has an informal loop that takes you past some old copper mines. To get to the Abandoned Mines Trail, you must first take the Lightning Bolt Trail, then a section of the Buckskin Trail, and then next a shared section of the Interruption Point Trail. Total mileage is approximately three miles round trip.

Route:From Lake Havasu take Highway 95 south for 25 miles, or from Parker take Highway 95 north for 12 miles to Buckskin Mountain State Park.
