Notes:The North Umpqua Trail is made up of 11 segments that vary from 3.5 to 15.7 miles in length. The trail begins on the west end at the BLM Swiftwater Recreation Area, travels along the North Umpqua River through the Umpqua National Forest, and ends in the east end in the Mt Thielsen Wilderness at Maidu Lake which is the headwaters of the North Umpqua River.
