Notes:This lake is located in the Link Creek Basin on the east side of the Cascades. It sees a lot of winter traffic use by snow mobiles coming from the Ray Benson Parking lot, but if you can cross-country ski mid-week, it can be quiet. For anglers, this lake is stocked, and you can expect to catch brooks, rainbows, or cutthrouts.
Route:Turn off Highway 20 at Corbett Parking, 4 miles east of the Santiam Pass. Continues on Rd 2076 about 2 miles south, then right about 1/2 mile to Island Lake.
