Jeanette, Buster, and friend Eddie Harrod went with me on this hike to further explore another trail in the North Bank Habitat Management Area, Chasm Creek.

an old donkey We parked at the West Entrance Parking and hiked up Chasm Creek. Evidence of past logging can still be seen. Buster and Eddie as always, added to the flavor of the hike.

Eddie photos Great Hound's Tongue We continued up the Chasm Creek drainage until we toped out on the Middle Ridge. Staying on the ridge top fire road we headed south past Middle Knob and South Knob then descended west down to the West Entrance Parking.
