We left Memaloose State Park taking Highway I-84 to Hood River. At Exit 66 took a break at Koberg Beach Rest Area. Second breakfast/early lunch at McDonalds at 10:45. 12:45 Viento State Park, camping only, no picnics! Herman Creek Campground 2:30 for late lunch. Back to Skamania Lodge at 4:00, 35 miles.
