Date: January 31, 2010 | Location Buckskin Mountain Trails Hike | Where: Buckskin Mountain State Park, Arizona | Ron & Bev Noble, friends from Salem, stopped by for a visit in route to their winter stay in Tucson. We all agreed to hike this morning and started off on the Lightning Bolt Trial shortly after eight o'clock.
| | Ron, Bev, & Jeanette at Lightning Bolt Trail Viewpoint We next took the Buckskin Trail and then the Abandoned Mines Trail where we inspected a number of the old abandoned mines.

| | Bev, Ron & Jim at Interruption Point During our hike we got several quick glances of tiny lizards darting out of sight. I finally got a photo of one along the Interruption Point Trail, a Side-blotched Lizard. Click below on Additional Photo and look closely for the black blotch just behind the front leg. | | Side-blotched Lizard |
