Location Talburt Trail Hike |
Where: North Bank Habitat Management Area |
When I'm feeling like a good workout close to home with fantastic scenery I quite often pick a trail in the North Bank Habitat Management Area, just north of Roseburg. Today's pick was the Talburt Trail, which has a good variety of trees and shrubs.

This was a sunny Saturday afternoon hike, designed to take in some of the golden colors of fall. We purposely waited at home until after lunch before driving to the trailhead. We were rewarded with clear skies and warm sunshine.

The Talburt Trail climbs high about the North Umpqua River, with great views across the river to Whistlers Bend County Park.
