Location California Fall Bicycle Tour - Day 8 |
Where: Pisom Beach to San Luis Obispo |
We left the oppressive fog of Pismo Beach and cycled right into sunshine as we climbed up the Price Canyon Road to San Luis Obispo. These two towns are only about 12 miles apart, but each has an entirely different climate.

relaxing in the shade Arriving in San Luis we looked for a motel. Jeanette got us a coupon price of $42.90 for a room at the Los Padres Motel, probably the best buy of the trip. The rest of the day we spent enjoying the sites of San Luis Obispo.
