Awake at 6:45 and unzip tent to full morning sunshine. A few minutes, and have coffee made. Sit in the sun and enjoy hot oatmeal and coffee. Our site has been a perfect one, next to a bubbling stream. A lawn chair had been left at a neighboring site which we barrowed. A make shift table or bench came with our site. Reluctantly we said good-by to our site and leave around 9:00. We stopped on a rocky outcrop at 11:00 and enjoyed an early lunch. Great views of Mt Jefferson and the Battle Ax drainage.
