Location Black Crater Hike |
Where: Three Sisters Wilderness |
John and I selected Black Crater to hike for the day. It was a beautiful day and clear, so wonderful hiking weather. It was 38 degrees this morning at our trailer at Wizard Fall Hatchery. It has been ten years since I hiked this last, and I found that the trailhead has now been redone as well as the first quarter of mile of trail. We enjoyed familiar sites along the way of all the major peaks of Central Oregon and the Cascades. The top was quite windy and after a quick lunch made our descent. |
