Cheap Thrills Supper Club

A culinary adventure and social episode, in which friends of Michael, and friends of Michael’s friend’s meet periodically to share food, wisdom, and laughter. It’s a chance to expand community and experience great food for a price that won’t break the bank.

THE LOWDOWN

The Club will convene sporadically.
A culinary theme will be chosen.
Reservations are required and must be paid in advance. (The Tab)
Guests must also participate in a volunteer activity

Shopping Assistant
Menu Planning Assistant
Cleanup
Entertainment Planner/Entertainers
Guest Chef (depending on the cuisine)
Administrative Coordinator (takes reservations, collects Tabs, organizes volunteers, communicates with Michael, host and guests)

Host – Obviously, we will need a place to do this! Anyone who volunteers to host will be exempt from The Tab and volunteerism (if there are two hosts, both will pay only 50% Tab).
Each guest will be responsible for his/her own beverages.

THE SPECIFICS

Michael will do all the cooking, but will need help with some of the details (see volunteer activities). The highest quality ingredients available will be used. Expect great food and even better company! Plan on dressing up (but for goodness sake, have fun)! Folks with special dietary requirements should read the menu carefully and check with Michael if they have any concerns.

The Tab A single fee covers all your food. Beverages are up to you.

Invitations Please invite anyone you wish. Space will be limited based on the location. Reservations will be accepted in the order they are received.

Entertainment The meal will be a big part of the entertainment. Multiple courses will be served, each with a brief introduction/explanation. Other fun can be had between courses and before and after the meal depending upon the theme and the whim and talent of the guests - singing, dancing, poetry, etc.
