Common Name:Chanterelle, Scaly
Genus / Species:Gomphus floccosus

Notes:Also known as Woolly Chanterelle or Vase Chanterelle. Although this mushroom shares the same common name as the very edible Chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius) it actually belongs to another genus and is not recomended as edible. Look for scaly surface, with deep center hollow.
