Flower:Grass Widow (inflatum)
Family:Iris
Genus / Species:Olsynium douglasii var. inflatum
Notes:This variety of the Grass Widow is found east of the Cascades. Note the pointed pedal tips as compared to the douglasii variety found on the west side. Although not obvious in the photo this variety has a more pronounced three-pronged stamen with an inflated base, hence the varietal name.
