Common Name: | Swallow, Cliff | Scientific Name: | Petrochelidon pyrrhonota | Family: | Hirundinidae | Area: | Collier Memorial State Park, Oregon | Date: | June 16, 2012 |
These swallows can easily be identified as adult Cliff Swallows by the cream colored forehead. I’m not sure what is going on with the nest, if they are rebuilding it, or if they are just using it to perch in.
