Common Name:Lizard, Sagebrush

Sagebrush Lizards belong to the Spiny Lizard group. At six inches they are smaller than the more common Western Fence Lizard and have less distinct spines, plus usually have a black bar on each shoulder. Notice the size in comparison to the rusty nail in the photo.
