Title: | Ruddy Lake | Area: | Olallie Scenic Area | Size: | 2 Acres | Depth: | 10 Feet | Elevation: | 5600 Feet | Misc: | Possibly the easiest way to find this lake would be to strike out cross-country from the Pacific Crest Trail with a GPS in hand. | Notes: | Joe Wetherbee provided the following information - Located just north of Ruddy Hill,---Not named on map, biggest of two lakes shown on topo, just this side of the line dividing Brietenbush drainage from north drainage. We made experimental release of golden trout in l963. I checked next year and saw 4-5 inch fish. As we didn't keep golden brood trout, was stocked with brooks later. Last time was stocked was in 1982, so probably not a fishing prospect.
