Title:Taylor Lake
Area:Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area
Size:35 Acres
Depth:16 Feet
Elevation:80 Feet
Trail:A short paved trail accesses The Dalles Riverfront Trail.
Misc:Besides a variety of warm water fish, Taylor Lake is stocked with catchable rainbow by ODFW.
Notes:This is a strange one, if you look at a USGS map Taylor Lake is shown to the NW of this body of water that the locals call Taylor Lake. The fact that the road signs lead to this lake and it is stocked by ODFW as Taylor Lake, causes me to think that the map is wrong.
Route:From I-84 west of The Dalles, take Exit 82. Turn north and follow signs To Taylor Lake. Last section is a very rought dirt road.
USGS_75:The Dalles North
