Besides the main Shellburg Falls there is also the Lower Shellburg Falls, New recreation management plans will make this a safe haven for hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians for years to come. Miles of trails are now in use by all of these groups, and a campground is located above the falls with 4 drive-in sites and 3 walk-in sites. For additional information call the Santiam State Forest at 503-859-2151 | Route: | From Salem, travel east 25 miles on Highway 22 to Mehama. Turn left on Fern Ridge Road, travel 1.3 miles looking for a gated road to the right. Park here, to the side, and hike the road 1.3 miles to the bridge over Shellburg Creek.
