Notes:If you're a lake fisherman and can't wait for the snow to melt in the Cascades to start fishing, this could be the lake for you. Located in the city of Salem at Cascade Gateway Park, it is stocked early in the year by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife with legal sized rainbow, and some big brooders. Plus, you can take the bus to get there! Salem Area Transit Cherriots route #21 stops within a half a block of the entrance to the park.
