Notes:Clover Lake is best accessed by the Clover Creek Trail. This trail, leading right past the lake, is the shortest trail to connect to the Mountain Lakes Loop Trail. It is also the least used trail, and possibly the prettiest as it climbs along bubbling Clover Creek. The lake, tucked in among the trees makes an ideal stop over for a short first day on a multi-day backpack into the Mountain Lakes Wilderness.
