Notes: | Tam McArthur Rim looms large in the background of Three Creeks Lake. Marring this pristine setting is the fact that the lake is lowered each year for irrigation water, however the lower levels do provide sandy beaches that many enjoy, so perhaps it's a trade off. Three Creeks Lake Resort is a small store with supplies and a boat rental. The Deschutes National Forest has two campgrounds available for camping. An unofficial trail circles the lake, making a pleasant 1.7 mile hike. |
Route: | From Sisters take Elm St south , it becomes FS road #16. Its 17 miles to Three Creeks Lake, the last of which are very rough. |
