Title: | Presley Lake |
Area: | Willamette National Forest |
Size: | 2 Acres |
Depth: | 7 Feet |
Elevation: | 3450 Feet |
Snow_Free: | May 02 |
Notes: | I can't recommend this lake for fishing, its very shallow and is rarely stocked. The 'good old beer drinking, gun toting boys' appear to be the main clientele based on the cans and shells. Probably gets used by hunting parties. In winter, when the snow level is low enough, this makes a great ski trip from Highway 22 to the lake----up all the way in, down all the way out. Good view of Mt Jefferson from the top and bubbly Horn Creek to enjoy on the lower section. Its 4.0 miles to the lake from Highway 22. |
Route: | From Salem take Highway 22 east past Marion Forks to Horn Creek Rd #2257 @ MP 66/ left on #515 |
